Bart's Story
After finding a cyst in his brain the summer after graduating high school, Bart's plans for a promising college athletic career abruptly ended. With the weight of the world upon him and nowhere to turn, the once self-confident youth became depressed and made a series of bad decisions.
In 1989, on a course for disaster and with suicide on his mind, Bart sat on a roadside curb in Varnell, GA, and invited Jesus Christ into his heart. He immediately realized the impact of having a relationship with the Lord and thought about the difference Christ would have made in his life as a youth.
Bart has served in several capacities since his salvation. He has influenced the growth of young people and worked with as many youth as 300 at one time.
Bart has gone out into the missionary fields to talk about Jesus. He has traveled to Jamaica as a youth leader. Bart was invited to be a part of a team that went to Tolland, Connecticut, where he encouraged the youth to reach out and be a light for the lost, as well as teach the youth leaders how to run a successful youth program. In the year 2006, the Lord called Bart into family Evangelism and he is available to visit and teach the Good News to your church. In 2011, Bart co-authored his first book "Good Things To Say" which features over 700 positive quotes for just about every situation.
Bart and his wife, Tara, have been happily married since 1990.
God has blessed them with two precious children, Trevor and Kaylee.
Going Foward For Christ - Romans 14:13
“I was 19 and at my lowest point. I had suicide on my mind.
I was walking around my neighborhood and ran into Stan Green. He took me for a walk and led me to the Lord on a curb."
